01

To empower women survivors with the resources and opportunities to heal, rise, and rediscover their own brilliance - one moment, one affirmation, & one healing act at a time.

02

To help women recapture their innate strength - often stolen through domestic violence, abuse, and coercive control.

03

To not allow violence to be the only story. There is hope, life, and success after abuse & we are dedicated to supporting women as they find their new path and story.

04

To be intentional in our work & intentional in providing space for women to heal.

My journey of healing is not over, but I refuse to do it alone.

My greatest prayer outside of my own escape - is to help other women reclaim their lives.

Living is an opportunity to experience joy. What one person (or many) tried to take from you - is not theirs. Reclaim your story and your life and join me in healing.

If you are here, you've either lived through domestic violence or you know someone that has.

Domestic violence is a pattern of behaviors used by one partner to maintain power and control over another in an intimate relationship. This can include:

  • Physical violence

  • Emotional and psychological abuse

  • Sexual abuse

  • Financial control

  • Coercive control and manipulation

  • Digital/technological abuse

  • Isolation from friends, family, and support

what is domestic violence?

01. Statistics & Facts

  • 1 in 4 women will experience severe intimate partner violence in their lifetime (CDC).
  • On average, it takes 7 attempts for a woman to leave an abusive relationship.
  • Domestic violence is the leading cause of injury to women—more than car accidents, muggings, and rapes combined.
  • Women aged 18-34 are at the greatest risk of becoming victims of domestic violence.

02. The Most Dangerous Time: Leaving

  • Leaving an abuser is often the most dangerous time for a survivor.
  • Over 70% of serious injuries or fatalities occur when a victim attempts to leave or shortly after.
  • Abuse may escalate as the abuser senses a loss of control.
  • Safety planning is critical before and during a departure.

03 Signs of Abuse

Some survivors don’t recognize emotional or psychological abuse early. Here are a few examples:
  • Constant monitoring or jealousy
  • Verbal degradation or gaslighting
  • Threats to harm you, your children, pets, or themselves
  • Control of finances, passwords, movements, or contacts
  • Blaming you for their actions or outbursts
